Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an expansion board for personal computer with which various kinds of tests can be performed without giving any damage to the slot for expansion card of the main body of a personal computer and which can input and output various kinds of signals and can be supplied with electric power without remodeling the main body of the personal computer and an expansion card to be tested.
CONSTITUTION: An extended board 10 is provided with a main body case 12 having a size which is almost the same as that of a PC card formed in accordance with the PCMCIA standard, connector 14 formed at one end of the case 12, wiring board 18 to one end of which the connector 14 is fitted and fixed and the other end of which is exposed from the case 12, and slot 16 fitted to and fixed to the other end of the board 18. When the expansion board 10 is mounted on the main body of a personal computer by inserting the connector 14 provided at one end of the board 10 into the PCMCIA slot of the main body of the personal computer, the slot 16 is exposed from the main body of the personal computer and a PC card can be inserted into the slot 16.
