Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the working efficiency by providing a caisson having an expansion joint and a hydraulic pressure roan on the central part thereof, and expanding the caisson with hydraulic pressure to connect it to the existing section after it is placed between the existing caissons.
CONSTITUTION: A caisson having a flexible joint roan surrounded by both ends of the caisson's first half section 1A and second half section 1B, an inside frame 4 and an outside frame 2 is hung down in a shrinking state between two existing caissons. After that, force-fit of water from a water injection pipe 7 to a hydraulic pressure room 6 surrounded by partition walls 9A and 9B and an inside frame side sealant 5 is made, and the room 6 is spread out along the axis to connect both ends of the first half section 1A and second half section 1B respectively to the existing caissons. Then, at that time, a horizontal reinforcement 10 is extended with the enlargement of the room 6, and a ring-shaped reinforcement 11 is placed to a proper position. In addition, concrete is placed to the inside of the flexible joint room from a concrete injection pipe 8. According to the constitution, connection can be made without providing an exclusive junction box, at the same time, a shift in a position of the existing section is absorbed to make it possible to connect accurately, and execution can be easily carried out by using hydraulic pressure.
