To provide an expansion and contraction type washing device in which washing efficiency and durability are enhanced by a simple device.

Water for washing is flowed through the inside of a hollow shaft 1 for water supply. The hollow shaft 1 for water supply is covered with a double pipe 2 in which a sliding metal fitting 3 is equipped in the upper part and a washing nozzle 4 is equipped in the lower part. A ball screw 12 for elevating/lowering the sliding metal fitting 3 by being rotated is set in the sliding metal fitting 3. The washing nozzle 4 is vertically moved by transmitting driving of a motor 13 to the ball screw 12 through a rotary belt 14.
