Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion joint device capable of surely following relative displacement of both side portions of a clearance.SOLUTION: A joint cover 5 is provided for covering a clearance 4 from the front side. A holding frame 6 is provided for holding the joint cover 5. The holding frame 6 is supported by both side portions 2a and 2b of the clearance 4. The holding frame 6 is constituted by a plurality of frame members 7-10. The frame members 7-10 are connected to be freely slidable in an axial direction thereof. Slide pins 11a-11c are interposed between engagement claws 18, 21, 22, 29, 30 and 36 of the frame members 7-10 connected with each other.
