Abstract:
To provide an expansion joint having uniformed material quality and improved product quality and being mass-productive in a shorter manufacturing time by eliminating a welding joint line, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.
The expansion joint 1 is a short cylinder body having opening portions 2, 2 at the upper and lower ends. It has a sectionally-U-shaped one-mountain bellows 3 protruded outward in the circumferential direction. The expansion joint 1 is integrally formed with cold molding instead of welding.
