Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert excellent sealing performance and keep the expanding/ contracting motions normal while the performance of the body of a vacuum cleaner is precluded from risk of impairing.
SOLUTION: The invention comprises an inner pipe 3 to be inserted into an outer pipe 2 with possibility of retracting and emerging freely, a fastening ring 9 which is installed at the periphery of the inner pipe 3, abuts to the opening 11 of the outer pipe 2 and has a slit 9a opening and closing in compliance with the size of the inner pipe 3, a fastening grip 10 which abuts to the ring 9 when rotated and fastens and fixes together the outer 2 inner pipes 3, and a seal member 15 which is installed on the ring 9 and has a projection fitted in the slit 9a and abutting to the opening 11 of the outer pipe 3.
