Title:
EXPANSION TURBINE-DRIVEN MAGNETIC REFRIGERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3434108
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently generate drive energy and to increase a liquefying amount by a method wherein an expansion turbine operated by gas guided by a magnetic substance is arranged in a heat insulation vacuum tank, and a rotary body, to which a rotary shaft and a magnetic substance are fixed, is coupled and interlocked.
SOLUTION: Gas cooled by a a heat-exchanger 47 is injected in an expansion turbine 39 through a nozzle 38 and a rotation work is effected by an injection speed of gas. In such a way that a small gear 45, having the less number of teeth, fixed at the the end of a rotary shaft 40 is fitted in a large gear 46 fixed at the end of a rotary shaft 24 on the magnetic substance 11 side, rotation of the expansion turbine 39 is decelerated to transmit the rotation to the rotary shaft 24 on the magnetic substance 11 side. By fitting the small and large gears 45 and 46 in each other, torque of the expansion turbine 39 rotated at high speed rotation is converted into the number of revolutions, at which a magnetic refrigerating cycle for the magnetic substance 11 fixed at a rotary body 20 is realized, to transmit the number of revolutions to the rotary body 20 on the magnetic substance 11 side. This constitution saves power energy and increases a liquefying amount, resulting in improvement of the efficiency of a refrigerator.
