Abstract:
To provide an improved expansion valve low-cost and capable of achieving low noise.SOLUTION: An expansion valve comprises: a valve body 2 having an annular valve seat 20; a valve body 3 blocking passing of fluid by being seated on the valve seat 20 and allowing passing of fluid by being separated from the valve seat 20; a coil spring 41 arranged in a valve chamber VS while directing the lateral face to flow of fluid flowing in from a supply side flow passage 21, and energizing the valve body 3 toward the valve seat 20; and an operation member 5 pressing the valve body 3 to a direction separated from the valve seat 20 against energization force by the coil spring 41. When a connection passage 21a of the valve chamber VS in which fluid flows from the supply side flow passage 21 is projected to a flow direction, the projected connection passage 21a does not cross a center axis of the coil spring 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
