Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an experimental animal capable of efficiently reproducing human skin and other human squamous tissue with the use of cultured cell in its body for a long time and accordingly having a high practical value and provide a method capable of efficiently producing it.

CONSTITUTION: An immunodeficient animal having human epidermal cell or other squamous cell is obtained by planting human epidermal cells or other human squamous cells obtained by proliferating culture together with fibroblast cells derived from human corium to an immunodeficient animal, e.g. athymic mouse or severe combined immunodeficient mouse (SCID mouse). The production method is also provided.
