To provide an explosion-proof lighting fixture which consumes low power, and can achieve compact size, simplification and cost reduction by using LEDs (light-emitting diodes) as a light source for the explosion-proof illumination fixture, and to provide an explosion-proof lighting system.
In the explosion-proof lighting fixture 10, when a predetermined DC voltage is supplied from a power source via an electric cable 203, electric power is supplied through an electric cable 107 to a printed circuit board 104 on which LED lamps 103 are mounted. When electric power is supplied to the LED lamps 103, the LED lamps 103 emit light. The light emitted from the LED lamps 103 is diffused by an optical diffusion plate 105, and passing through a light transmitting part 106, the light is irradiated outward. Using the LEDs as the light source, the power consumed in the explosion-proof lighting fixture 10 can be reduced drastically, and a voltage drop in the electric cable 203 can be suppressed.
