Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a small-sized, highly efficient and highly safe pressure rgulating means, for preventing the generation of danger, such as explosion or the like due to a high pressure, in a transporting pipe for transferring PCB gas, obtained by heating sealed evaporating oven, which seals a substance containing PCB such as the PCB vessels or the like of insturments, into a PCB gas incinerator for decomposing treatment.
CONSTITUTION: A pressure regulating device is constituted so that excessive gas is released from a transporting pipe 12 into a PCB pressure regulating tank 13 through a releaf valve 3 and, further, excessive PCB gas in the tank 13 is reduced into PCB solution by spraying cooling water forcibly against the cooling coil pipe 8, having a large surface area, when an internal pressure of the transporting pipe 12 has exceeded a predetermined value. In order to promote the cooling effect, a gas transporting pipe 19, communicating the outlet port of the cooling coil pipe 8 with the tank 13, and a communicating pipe 23, communicating a PCB solution tank 15 below the cooling coil 8 with the bottom of the tank 13, are provided.
