PURPOSE: To prevent chips caused by turnover at the time of cutting a photographic paper by feeding the chips shaved when the photographic paper is cut by a cutter to a waste box by means of a mechanism for sucking chips near the blade edge of an edge shaver.
CONSTITUTION: The photographic paper wound in a roll state is cut by the cutter and fed to an exposing process part. Then, the chips shaved by a moving edge which moves along a guide 11 provided just after the cutter part are sucked in a chip sucking hose 12 from a slit opened at a shaving position, moved into a chip collecting case 15 through a heat resistant duct hose 13, and stored inside by the filter of the case. In such a case, the hose 12 is connected to the hose 13 for attracting and obtains suction force by an attracting fan 14. Furthermore, the case 15 is attached to the vicinity of the suction port of a sucking fan so as to collect the chips or dust, etc., from the hose for sucking the chips and duct for sucking and attracting.
