To provide an exposure control device with simple constitution which can suppress an error component and carry out highly precise photometry.
The exposure control device has capacitors 21a and 21b which integrate an electric current depending on light made incident on a film 7 in an exposure state and convert it into a voltage, and controls an exposure according to the amount of integration of the capacitors 21a and 21b. The exposure control device is provided with a switch 15b (analog switch) having low insulation performance and a fast response speed, a switching part 15 which is provided in series to the switch 15b and which includes a switch 15a (reed switch) having higher insulation performance and a slower response speed compared with the switch 15b and resets the amount of integration of the capacitors 21a and 21b, and a CPU 1 which controls the operation of the switching part 15 when starting the integration.
