PURPOSE: To provide an electronic flashing device capable of preventing eyelids of an object from becoming into a close state during an exposure at the illumination time by light in the visible region emitted from the electronic flashing device just prior the exposing time.

CONSTITUTION: This electronic flashing device is provided with a visible light flash-discharging tube 64, and an electric circuit being connected therewith, for controlling energization and de-energization of the flash-discharging tube 64 just prior the exposing time and during the exposing time. The electronic flashing device is, provided with the device capable of making the flash- discharging tube 64 connected to an appropriate electric energy source, and illuminating the object by the limited light quantity in the visible region just prior the exposing time, by impressing a trigger signal to the flash-discharging tube 64, so as to prevent the eyelids of the object from causing a wink during the exposure in response thereto.
