Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform highly accurate exposure control by constituting an exposure controlling means to perform control corresponding to the degree of the wear of machine parts constituting a shutter for each actuation of the shutter.
SOLUTION: The number of actuation times of the shutter 10, exposure control corresponding to the number of times and the correcting quantity of stroboscope light emission control are stored on shipment of the camera. When a switch 19a is depressed in photographing, the various circuits of the camera are initialized by a CPU 12, and the luminance of an object is measured by a photometric circuit 17, and a distance to the object is measured by a range- finding circuit 18. Next, the number of driving times of the shutter 10 stored in an EEPROM 13 is read out. Then, the shutter 10 is actuated by executing correction corresponding to the number of the actuation times of the shutter 10 for a calculated result obtained by calculating from the outputs of photometric and range-finding means when exposed. Thus, even though the actuating member of the shutter 10 is worn by increasing the number of the actuation times of the shutter 10, exposure correction corresponding to the wear is performed, so that adequate exposure is obtained.
