To obtain an exposure device capable of easily obtaining proper wavelength light in accordance with the color developing characteristic of photosensitive material.
An exposure head 25 is provided with a light source part 30, a liquid crystal shutter 31, a triangular prism 32 and a wavelength selection plate 34. The light source part 30 is equipped with a white light source. White light from the light source part is modulated to white image light having luminance information of every pixel in the liquid crystal shutter 31. When the white image light is made incident on the triangular prism 32, the image light is dispersed by every wavelength. The wavelength selection plate 34 is provided with a slit 33, and the position of the slit 33 is determined according to the required wavelength. The specified wavelength image light passing through the slit 33 is reflected on a mirror and the photosensitive material is irradiated with the image light.
