Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expression vector used for production of a transformed anaerobic microorganism useful as a gene transporter for anaerobic disease treatment, and to provide a construction method thereof.SOLUTION: The invention provides a plasmid vector which is replicated in the anaerobic microorganism but is not replicated in Escherichia coli, and is used for transformation of anaerobic microorganisms. The invention also provides the plasmid vector comprising at least one plasmid replication unit which functions in the anaerobic microorganism but does not function in Escherichia coli, and a protein expression unit comprising a DNA coding for a protein having target activity and a DNA fragment comprising a promoter and a terminator that function in the anaerobic microorganism; and a method for constructing the plasmid vector.
