Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an extending device of an extendable boom to be mounted on a mobile crane, achieve smooth driving of, so called, a B pin and a C pin provided in the extendable boom even under a low temperature environment, and decrease the extending device in weight and size.SOLUTION: An extending device comprises a cylinder/boom connection mechanism 15, an inter-boom fixing mechanism 16 and a driving mechanism 17 that drives the mechanisms. The driving mechanism 17 has a hydraulic pressure supply portion 18 and a driving source generating portion 19. The hydraulic pressure supply portion 18 comprises an AOH 51 and is provided in a cylinder tube of an extendable boom 13. The hydraulic pressure supply portion 18 supplies selectively hydraulic oil to actuators 31 and 35 which drive a B pin 26 and a C pin 34. The driving source generating portion 19 comprises an air hose 57 and supplies compressed air to the AOH51. The air hose 57 is wound up retractably onto a hose reel 58.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
