Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the positioning of an extensible support easily and the adjustment of the length of an extensible ladder reliably in the adjustment of the length of the extensible support and the positioning of the support.
SOLUTION: The extensible ladder-positioning device is formed of the support of a ladder and an extensible support 14 that is mounted slidably. A fixing mechanism 17 is attached and fixed to the support. An engager 21 is stored withdrawably in a storing frame fixed inside a storing case 18. Rotating plates 30 are arranged on both sides of the engager 21, and supported by supporting shafts 28 fixed to the storing case 18 rotatably. An operating pin 23 is supported in the center of the engager 21, both ends of which are engaged with circular arc long holes 32 provided at the head of the rotating plates 30. The rotation of the rotating plates 30 guides the operating pin 23 to the long hole 32.
