To provide an extension device of a jellyfish inflow-preventing net, capable of facilitating the hoisting of the jellyfish inflow-preventing net from the sea and the extension thereof into the sea by smooth rotation of a guide pulley by installing the guide pulley for winding an extension rope of the jellyfish-inflow preventing net on the sea bottom side at a position distant from the sea bottom, when extending the jellyfish-inflow preventing net on the front surface of an intake provided in a quay wall, to thereby avoid a situation such that the guide pulley is buried in sludge or the like; and to provide an extension method of the jellyfish inflow-preventing net using the extension device of the jellyfish inflow-preventing net.
In the extension device of the jellyfish-inflow preventing net, the guide pulley for winding the extension rope of the jellyfish-inflow preventing net on the sea bottom side when extending the jellyfish-inflow preventing net on the front surface of the intake provided on the quay wall is installed at a position distant from the sea bottom.
