Abstract:

To realize a stable and precision unfolding operation by supporting homogenization of tension and reducing hysteresis.

This device is composed of an extendable solar cell paddle 12 extendably folded and mounted on a mast extension mechanism 10, and a first link member 221 arranged generally in parallel with a link mechanism 22 and mounted on a tip side part of the solar cell paddle 12 through the link mechanism 22 including a link joint part crossing generally at right angles with a part between a extension part 11 of the mast extension mechanism 10 and the tip part of the solar cell paddle 12, and a second link member 222 mounted on the extension part 11 side of the mast extension mechanism 10, and applies constant tension between the solar cell paddle 12 and the extension part 11 of the mast extension mechanism 10 by a tension generation device.
