Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension structure of which shape change can be attained under application of shape memory resin.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an extension structure in which there is provided a mast main body having a hollow section structure, the mast main body has some folding portions for axially folding the hollow section and capable of attaining an extended state where the folding portions are developed to make a cylindrical structure and a storing state where the folding portions are folded to attain a flat section. The mast main body is divided into several pattern pieces partitioned at the folding portions and each of the pattern pieces is connected by a connecting member having shape memory resin at the folding portions.
