Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension type mast of spontaneous autonomous extension and satellite including at least one mast of this type.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an extension type mast of spontaneous autonomous extension including at least one basic structure block 10 with a longitudinal extension axis X, the basic structure block comprises each of two lower and upper platforms 13, 12 in parallel with a plane YZ crossing at a right angle with the axis X and the number of N of stages overlapped to each other in parallel with the axis X, where N exceeds 1 and [i] is set between 1 and N-1. Each stage Ei comprises at least six flexible longitudinal connection arms 11 cooperatively connected by a tape spring. The arms are placed on a plane in parallel with the axis X at an extension position, inclined in respect to the axis X, the number of N of stages are fixed to each other in one set of two stages under application of a connection platform 15 in parallel with the plane YZ.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
