Abstract:
Provided is a power storage device exterior case whereby a large distortion focused on a trihedral angular portion can be suppressed sufficiently, the occurrence of a wrinkle or a crack can be suppressed, and strength can be secured sufficiently. The invention has a configuration comprising: a housing case 2 shaped as an approximately polygonal column and having an open bottom surface; and a flanged portion extending outward in an approximately horizontal direction from the peripheral border of the opening at the housing case bottom surface. Adjacent side walls 11 constituting the housing case are joined by a corner wall portion 4 disposed therebetween and having a curved surface. Each edge of a ceiling wall 12 constituting the housing case is joined to an upper edge 11a of the corresponding side wall through a ridge line portion 5 having a curved surface, each corner border 12b of the ceiling wall 12 is joined to an upper border 4a of the corresponding corner wall portion 4 through a corner summit portion 6 provided with a curved surface. The configuration has the relationship: curvature radius R1 of the ridge line portion 5 < curvature radius R2 of the angle summit portion 6 in a vertical cross section.
