Abstract:

To provide an exterior component structure capable of preventing trouble in use with the other component.

A component body 41 of a front protector 1 is molded from transparent resin, and a translucent surface coating layer 43 having a surface of the same color as a front bumper 12 is provided thereon. A display forming portion 52 is set on the reverse surface of the component body 41, and a reverse layer 53 is provided in an area of the reverse surface except the display forming portion 52. The reverse layer 53 is constituted by a reverse coating layer 61 laminated on the reverse surface of the component body 41 and a light shielding layer 62 laminated on the reverse coating layer 61, and the reverse coating layer 61 is formed with the same color or the same type of color as the surface coating layer 43. A light source unit 71 is provided on the reverse side of the front protector 1 to illuminate the display forming portion 52.
