Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior member which can be manufactured at low cost, a wiring harness including the exterior member in the configuration, and an inexpensive exterior member manufacturing method.SOLUTION: An exterior member 1 is formed in a tubular shape. A resin portion 10 includes a flexible tube part 12 having flexibility and a straight tube part having rigidity rather than the flexible tube part 12. The resin portion is then formed in such a manner that the flexible tube part 12 and the straight tube part are continued. In the flexible tube part 12 and the straight tube part, a continuous projection is formed, and the continuous projection is formed in a shape including a spiral projection 17 and a straight projection. The spiral projection 17 is formed in a shape where a portion 16 protruding in a view from the side of an outer tube surface 15 extends spirally in a circumferential direction of the outer tube surface 15. On the other hand, the straight projection is formed in a shape continued to an end of the spiral projection 17 and extending in a tube axis direction. The exterior member 1 may also be configured by forming not only the continuous projection but also an intermittent projection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
