Title:
EXTERIOR SEALING STRUCTURE IN LAYER-BUILT DRY CELL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5784561
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a strong coating for a layer-built dry cell, and increase the preservation performance of the cell under high temperature by using a photo- hardened synthetic resin which is hardened by the irradiation of thermal rays such as ultraviolet rays or radioactive rays.

CONSTITUTION: An elctrode element 5 is formed by stacking and integrating a positive electrode 1, a separator 2, and a negative electrode 3 on which a conductive film 4 is affixed. Each element 5 is covered with a heat shrinkable synthetic resin tube 6, with the central surfaces of the electrode 1 and 3 exposed, thereby making a battery element 7. After the battery elements 7 are stacked, the entire surface of the stacked body is coated with a photo-hardened synthetic resin film 8 except current collecting bodies 1a and 3a with a different polarity. After that, the film 8 is hardened and polymerized by thermal ray irradiation, thus an exterior sealing structure is formed.
