To stably and surely conduct a waterproof countermeasure by assembling a lower frame 3 to vertical frames 1 and 1 in the case of the execution of work while closing the intermediate section of a vertical recessed groove 8 formed for housing a pane 6 to the side face of the lower frame 3 in the exterior-wall structure of a front in a building in which the pane 6 is fitted to a section surrounded by the vertical frames 1 and 1, an upper frame 2 and the lower frame 3.
The lower frame 3 positoned on the lower side of the pane 6 is composed of a lower frame body 49 having a length approximately the same as a space between the vertical frame 1 and 1 and a waterproof sliding plate 38 installed apart from the lower frame body 49, slidably engaged in the longitudinal direction and positioned on the bottom of a lateral recessed groove 9. The length W2 of the sliding plate 38 is formed in the length longer than that W1 of the lower frame body 49, and the projecting end of the sliding plate is fitted into the vertical recessed groove 8 under a liquid-tight sealed state.
