PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer packaging material for a vacuum heat insulation material capable of manufacturing the vacuum heat insulation material keeping high heat insulation performance, and to provide the vacuum heat insulation material and an article with the vacuum heat insulation material capable of keeping high heat insulation performance.SOLUTION: An outer packaging material for a vacuum heat insulation material has metallic foil 2 having a first face 5, and a second face 6 opposed to the first face, one or more resin films 1 at a first face side, stacked at a first face side of the metallic foil with an adhesive agent 4, and one or more resin films 3 at a second face side, stacked at a second face side of the metallic foil with the adhesive agent. The product of tensile elasticity of the outer packaging material for the vacuum heat insulation material and the cube of a thickness of the outer packaging material for the vacuum heat insulation material is 3.0 MPa mmor less, and an absolute value of the difference between the total of indentation elastic modulus of one or more resin films at the first face side and the total of indentation elastic modulus of one or more resin films at the second face side is 1.0 GPa or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
