Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external composition which suppresses reduction of stability of acyclovirs by nonionic surfactant in an acyclovirs-containing external composition containing a nonionic surfactant, and which has higher stability of active ingredients.SOLUTION: Disclosed is an external composition which contains (A) at least one selected from a group consisting of acyclovir, vidarabine, penciclovir, famciclovir, valacyclovir, and salts thereof, (B) nonionic surfactant, and (C) at least one selected from a group consisting of tocopherol, isopropyl methylphenol, camphor, allantoin, cetyl pyridinium, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives, and chlorobutanol.
