To provide an external electrode formation method for an electronic parts, wherein external electrode formation is done properly, by properly pushing the parts into a holding hole of a parts holder without failure.

Since parts-pushing into a holding hole 3a of a parts holder 1 is performed for each single holding hole, the force the parts holder 1 receives at parts-pushing is extremely small as compared with when parts-pushing is performed at once into all holding holes 3a like conventional manner, so that no curvature is caused in the parts holder 1 itself. So that, variation in pushing positions caused by curvature is avoided, parts-pushing into the holding hole 3a is properly performed without failure.
