Abstract:
To obtain an external gel-like composition having high compatibility with the skin of a human body and high strengths irrespective of the form of use.
The external gel-like composition is formed of a water-soluble polymer and has self-shape-retaining properties and 30-95 wt.% of moisture content. The compressive deformation rate expressing the maximum deformation rate until the gel structure is partially broken is 65-99% when the gel-like composition is compressed at a prescribed speed using a plunger capable of pressing at a constant speed.
