PURPOSE: To obtain an external preparation of skin having preventing and improving action on chapped skin, excellent effects of providing skin with wetness and luster, not causing feeling of greasiness, papule, pimple, pustule, rash, etc., having excellent safety.
CONSTITUTION: An external preparation of skin comprising (A) preferably 0.01-50wt.%, especially 0.01-20wt.% fructose and (B) preferably 0.01-30wt.%, especially 0.02-10wt.% L-arginin-L-aspartate as essential components in an external preparation of skin such as cosmetics, medicines or quasi-drugs. The external preparation of skin has the above-mentioned effects and in the case of an external preparation of skin containing glycerol as a humectant, characteristic feeling of greasiness of glycerol and occurrence of papule, pimple, pustule, rash, etc., can be suppressed. In the case, the content of glycerol is preferably 0.01-30wt.%, especially 0.1-10wt.%.
