Abstract:
To provide an external stairway mounting structure for a unit building, preventing a narrower living space in a building.
A structure wherein an external stairway 7 is mounted on a unit building having a walking roof with its almost horizontal roof plane 6A possible to walk includes an upper floor unit 20 having a floor surface 25A at the same height as that of the roof plane 6A and protruded from the external wall of the unit building and an external stairway unit 21 with its upper end joined to the upper floor unit 20. As the external stairway 7 is formed to be protruded from the external wall of the unit building, the need for providing a stairway communicating with the walking roof in the building is eliminated.
