Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a tunnel extinguishment system not allowing water to be discharged without the actual release of a chain lock, even when the micro processing unit of a disaster prevention board or a relay board goes out of control.
CONSTITUTION: After determining a water discharge zone, MPU 20 of a disaster prevention board 3 sends a water discharge instruction signal to a relay board 4 via the first transmission cable. MPU 40 of the board 4 is thereby made to output an opening control instruction signal. Also, the transmission circuit 35 of the board 3 outputs a chain unlocking signal to the board 4 via the second transmission cable, upon receipt of a chain unlocking signal for releasing the lock state of an automatic valve. Also, a lock release judgement circuit 42 sends an automatic valve opening signal to an automatic valve control section 27, when an opening control instruction signal and a chain unlocking signal are issued respectively from the MPU 40 of the board 3 and a relay circuit 41.
