Abstract:

To provide a nonwoven fabric which has high porosity and is an extra-thin type and mechanically stable.

The nonwoven fabric is chemically and/or thermally bonded and has ≥15 N/5cm maximum tensile strength in one direction, maximally 35% maximum elongation in the direction, ≥25% porosity and ≤30 μm thickness. The nonwoven fabric is usable as a separator material and a support for a membrane.
