Abstract:
PURPOSE:To extract inclusion relationship between completely or incompletely closed areas by converting the incomplete closed area of a body to be described, which is expressed with vector trains put in order, to a completely closed area and performing the operation based on extraction of the total sum of angles between vectors. CONSTITUTION:If a vector train read out from a body 1 to be described which is expressed with vector trains put in order is an incompletely closed area, a false vector from the end point to the start point of the vector train is generated by a means 2 which converts the incompletely closed area to a completely closed area. A vector train generating means 3 generates vector trains, which are put in order, from the end point of constituting vectors of one close area to that of the other close area, and it is discriminated by a shared end point extracting means 4 whether a certain end point is shared between two close areas or not. The angle formed between adjacent vectors is detected by an angle detecting means 5, and the total sum of angle informa tion obtained by the means 5 is obtained by an angle total sum extracting means 6. An inclusion relation determining means 7 extracts inclusion relation in accordance with information obtained from the means 6.
