Abstract:
A method for extracting Tsaoko fructus essential oil for inhibiting candida tropicalis and the Tsaoko fructus essential oil. The extraction method comprises the following steps: weighing the ripe fruit of Tsaoko fructus, crushing and sieving same with a 30-50 mesh sieve to obtain a powder; mixing the powder with water, leaving the mixture to stand for 2-5 h, and then distilling the mixture with steam at 180°C-260°C for 5-8 h. Efficient extraction of the Tsaoko fructus essential oil is achieved by means of a steam distillation method, and the extraction rate reaches not less than 1.7%. The obtained Tsaoko fructus essential oil shows extremely strong inhibitory activity on candida tropicalis. The diameter of the bacteriostatic circle is not less than 15 mm, the MIC reaches not more than 0.195 μL/mL, and the MBC reaches not more than 0.781 μL/mL.
