Abstract:

To provide an extraction method of a sulfide-type sulfur component in insulating oil, capable of simply measuring the sulfide type sulfur component in the sulfur component contained in insulating oil, with high sensitivity.

The extraction method of the sulfide-type sulfur component in the total sulfur component in the insulating oil includes a process of using a predetermined amount of the insulating oil as sample oil to bring the sample oil or a sample, which is prepared by dissolving the sample oil in a non-polar solvent, into contact with a palladium chloride supported silica gel and makes the sulfide type sulfur component adsorb on the palladium chloride supported silica gel; a process of bringing a polar solvent into contact with the sulfide-type sulfur component adsorbed palladium chloride supported silica gel to make the sulfide-type sulfur component contained in the polar solvent; and a process of adding a Lewis base to the polar solvent.
