PURPOSE: To recover U within sea water by adsorption continuously and effectively by a method wherein a U adsorbing unit is suspended to a horizontal loop-like cable recirculated and moved by ocean current through an appropriate means and sunk into sea water while an adsorbing agent is attached or detatched on the way.
CONSTITUTION: When sea water is passed through an adsorbing unit 1 in a direction of an arrow A, a flight wheel 6 is rotated to a direction of an arrow X to rotate a spur gear 5 by a combination of a bevel gear 4 and a cable 3 is moved to a direction of an arrow B through a shaft of a spur gear 5 to recirculate and move an adsorving unit 1. During movement, when an unit 1 adsorbing U within sea water is passed across a detaching installation 2 the said unit 1 is immersed in a detaching solution such as (NH4)2CO3 or the like in a storage tank provided in an installation 2 to detach an adsorbing agent and moved into sea water again to initiate adsorption.
