To easily extract a punch retained in a retainer at the upper mold of a metal mold.
A punch is formed so that its base end part may be stored in the punch storing hole of a retainer formed at the upper mold of a metal mold. In the punch, a locking groove engages with a ball which is formed at the retainer and is separated by pressing-operation toward the base end, and both sides of tool engaging grooves along a retainer surface, are formed at its periphery surface. An extractor is constituted by forming a leg part 12 which is set along the periphery surface of the punch, and a guide part 16 which supports a lock releasing rod 15 pressingly-operating the pole toward base end at the front position of the pole so as to be capable of sliding vertically, at a base part 11 which is set at the front position of the punch in such a condition as is stored in the punch storing hole, A pair of pawls 13 on both sides, which are engaged into a tool engaging groove from the direction along the retainer surface, are protrudingly-formed in the orthogonal direction.
