Title:
EXTREME END PROTECTOR FOR PC STEEL STRANDED WIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2720380
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PC steel stranded wire protector of favorable workability by providing a slit extending in the axial direction from the rear end part to the vicinity of the extreme end part on a protector main body, and changing the width of the slit by a threaded bolt.
SOLUTION: A nozzle-shaped PC steel stranded wire extreme end protector main body 1 is formed with a drill-like head part 2 on the vicinity of the extreme end part, and a tubular PC steel stranded wire holding part 3 on the vicinity of the rear end part. The main body 1 is formed with a slit 4 penetrating in the direction perpendicular to the axis, and extending in the axial direction from the rear end part to the vicinity of the extreme end. A bolt inserting hole 5 with thread is formed on the center part of the main body 1 so as to be perpendicular to the slit 4, and a threaded bolt 6 is threadedly fitted in the bolt inserting hole 5. By loosening or tightening the threaded bolt 6, the width of the slit 4 is widened or narrowed, so as to hold the extreme end of the PC steel stranded wire with the holding part 3. Hereby, when the PC steel stranded wire is inserted into a sheath pipe, the extreme end is protected, and hence untwisting can be prevented.
