Abstract:
To provide multiphase personal washing bars having artisan-crafted appearance.
In such bars the hardness of a discontinuous phase is greater than 2 times the hardness of a continuous phase. A manufacturing method of these by a high speed extrusion process comprises extruding a composition e.g. at least about 200 bars/minute, preferably in excess of 300 bars/minute. The bars made by the method comprise a discontinuous phase having its longest dimension between about 3 and about 75 mm that is dispersed in a continuous phase containing a cleansing base.
