Abstract:
To provide an extruder capable of satisfactorily kneading a rubber composition.SOLUTION: An extruder 2 kneads a rubber composition obtained from a material containing a first rubber material and a second rubber material. The extruder 2 comprises: a cylinder 4 which is provided with a cylinder chamber 4b and a discharge port 4d; at least one first charging port 10b which opens to the cylinder chamber 4b and through which the first rubber material is charged; at least one second charging port 12b which is located near the discharge port 4d than the first charging port 10b, opens to the cylinder chamber 4b, and through which the second rubber material is charged; and a screw 6 which rotates in the cylinder chamber 4b, and extrudes, while kneading, the rubber composition from the discharge port 4d. Preferably, the extruder 2 comprises a supply device. The supply device includes the functions of: distributing the rubber material charged into the cylinder chamber 4b into the first rubber material and the second rubber material; supplying the first rubber materia to the first charging port 10b; and supplying the second rubber material to the second charging port 12b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
