Abstract:
The product is formed in a two-part tool located on a counter part of an extrusion press, and is then bent by the application of outside forces. The complete tool (11) is located in the counter part (8), esp. in a pressure plate (9) extending in press direction (5) over the complete length of the part. The tool has a discharge funnel (15), and the pressure plate has parallel cylinders (16), which are coupled to the tool.
