PURPOSE: To sharply, accurately and favorably cut a discard by providing a push means to press and energize an extruding tool to the side of an end platen when the discard is cut.
CONSTITUTION: The push means 20 is composed of a pair of projecting lug parts provided on both right and left sides of a die slide 3 in the outward projecting shape and a pressing cylinder 22, a cylinder rod 22a is advanced as shown by full lines in the figure and the projecting lug parts 21 are pushed by push plate parts 22b at the front end in the direction of the end platen 1. Then, the whole extruding tool 4 is pushed to the side of the end platen 1, a shear 19 is moved along the extruding tool 4 to cut the discard 23. The cut surface is excellent in flatness accuracy, free from burrs and satisfactory.
