Abstract:
PURPOSE: To extend the service life of a die by bringing a Co base alloy to buildup welding on the bearing surface of the die.
CONSTITUTION: A Co base alloy is brought to guildup welding on the bearing surface of a die. As a result, the service life of a regenerated die can be further extended, and also, nitriding can be omitted. This build-up bearing surface can be applied to both a waste die and a new die. Also, not only with regard to the new die but also with regard to the waste die, nitriding is unnecessary, an extruding speed can be increased, and a section whose surface quality is excellent can be formed.
