Abstract:
To provide an extrusion die which is reduced in the difference of pressure generating between portholes and reduced in the difference between the speed of extrusion owing to the difference between shapes of individual products in a multi-hole die, especially which is suitable for manufacturing thin wall formed products such as tubes of a heat exchanger.
In an extrusion die for the extrusion of hollow extrusion products having at least two extrusion cavities 15, 16 each connected to at least two portholes, at least one porthole 8 of each extrusion cavity e.g. the extrusion cavity 15 is connected to one porthole 9 of an adjacent extrusion cavity 16 by means of at least one channel 7.
