Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a extrusion machine capable of cooling an extruded material just after extrusion, having a sufficient cooling capacity and without the temp. drop of a die.
CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a mandrel bar 9 and piping 10 for refrigerant. The piping for refrigerant penetrates the interior of the mandrel bar in the axial direction and its tip part 10a is faced to the inside of a hollow or semi-hollow extruded material 11, 11' which is extruded from the die 2. A refrigerant jetting part 10b is provided in this tip part 10a and also the refrigerant 12 is jetting supplied on the inside of the extruded material just after extrusion from the refrigerant jetting part.
