Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide extrusion molding apparatus and method for a rubber v-belt.SOLUTION: An extrusion molding apparatus includes an extruder, a conveyor, a cooler, a material storage unit, a detector, a rubber sheet coating/cutting unit, and a sail cloth coating unit. The extruder includes a material inlet and a die, and extrudes a material by the die thereby forming a bottom rubber sheet. The conveyor is connected to the die and conveys the formed bottom rubber sheet. The cooler is located on one side of the conveyor, and cools the bottom rubber sheet on the conveyor. The material storage unit is provided on the cooler, stores the bottom rubber sheet cooled by the cooler, and transports the bottom rubber sheet to the rubber sheet coating/cutting unit. The detector is located between the cooler and the material storage unit, and detects the bottom rubber sheet cooled before storage thereof. The rubber sheet coating/cutting unit coats a wire with the bottom rubber sheet discharged from the material storage unit, thereby forming a core wire. The sail cloth coating unit coats the core wire formed by the rubber sheet coating/cutting unit with a sail cloth with a rubber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
